How I keep a tan in the wintertime

... In Canada.

I used to tan at the salons alot last year and the year before but I havent really done that much lately and I probably wont except maybe for prom. Instead I use at home methods and I thought I'd let you guys know how I do it.

Usually I do this everynight after my shower. First I put on a self tanning creme so that my skin is hydrated and will pick up the color more evenly. I try to use it for fair skin even though my skin isnt fair just so that it wont go on too dark because I'll be using a spray too. Also fair doesnt streak as easily I find.

Then I use a spray. I was really scared that spray tan would be streaky and hard to get even but its actually not at all. I find it way easier than just lotion and it streaks less than lotion, in my opinion.

I don't put the spray or lotion on my face so my face is a little bit lighter. I've found that this bronzer is really good and evens it all out.

Easy as that, and it's fairly cheap :)

SWAP.

I reallly really want the mac hello kitty palettes in too dolly and lucky tom. If anyone has them and doenst use them and wants to swap them for something ( we have gosh here if you guys want that and dont have it there) I'd really appreciate it :)

Gold and green..CHRISTMAS look:) .. and another green look.

So, soon I'll do a full on christmas look with reds and greens but I dont mind doing a bunch of christmas looks because I just looove christmas so much :), I also found a look with greens that I had done a while back so I thought i'd post that. Both looks are used with a hip duo eyeshadow only. The 1st one is in "Flashy" and the 2nd look is in "Riotous".

Okay, I lied I used a little bit of gold from a different hip duo eyeshadow in this look because the beige color that was in Flashy was the exact same color as my eyelids and it didnt look very good haha.

Snow snow snoww

Look look its there! it melted a few hours later but I was happy for the time it was here.

It just looks like yucky rainy muck but it was snowing I promise! Everyone seems to have the reaction "ew, snow" but I love snow. No, I dont love freezing and needing to scrape my car (which is a new adventure for me, not fun!) But I love christmas time soooo much that I am able to get over the bad things about snow and think they mean christmas time!

My boyfriend calls me spacemonkey (long story.. it doesnt sound cute, it sounds more of an insult but I think his intentions are good..) and tonight when I got off work and came out to the car this little guy was sitting on my seat, I thought it was pretty cute. I also like my purple eyeshadow for the day ;)

I'm going to do another christmas look soon enough cause today I got the L'oreal hip duo in Flashy and its such pretty colors so I'll probably do that tomorrow.

i looooove this it was so much fun to do i saw that someone had a youtube contest for masquerade masks and i just did one for fun but it think it is so much fun and i wish i could wear my make up everyday like that haha

Christmas look.

My favorite time of the year is by far Christmas time and now that we've passed Halloween I can really get excited for Christmas without feeling like its "too early" even though I know deep down it is. I did this look yesterday and my mom loved it haha she said that she wanted me to do hers the exact same for her work Christmas party but I think its just a really nice color combination and Ive been really obsessed with this kind of mauvey-redish color lately.

The color Ive been using for the mauve looks lately is GOSH effect powder in Rosewood. It is the most gorgeous color ever and it is extremely pigmented and you barely need to use hardly any at all.
